Brian Rea produces drawings and paintings for books, magazines, murals, fashion and film projects around the world. His work has been exhibited in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City and Barcelona at the Fundació Joan Miro. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Art Center College of Design and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale and is represented by CMay Gallery in Los Angeles. His first authored book, Death Wins a Goldfish (Chronicle) was nominated for an Eisner Award and optioned for television.
His new book, Avoid This (Princeton Architectural Press) was published in October.
He now lives in Stockholm, Sweden with his wife and his son.
