Brian Rea produces drawings and paintings for books, magazines, murals, fashion and film projects around the world. His work has been exhibited in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City and Barcelona at the Fundació Joan Miro. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Art Center College of Design and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale. His first authored book, Death Wins a Goldfish (Chronicle) was nominated for an Eisner Award and optioned for television. His new book, Avoid This will be published in October.
He lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife, his son and his plants.
